Nelida Duran, PhD, MS, RD

Nellie Duran is Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. She is a registered dietitian with extensive experience in maternal and child health and HIV/AIDS care. Her research interests include Arctic indigenous food systems, global environmental change and its impact on food and nutrition security, among others. In 2020, she joined the HERE Center as Co-Director.
