Biography
Cecilia Guzman is originally from Sinaloa and graduated from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa with a degree in social work. She immigrated to this country in 2013 and has dedicated herself to community work, gaining experience in leadership and advocacy in the health and community sector. She is currently the coordinator of the Ventanilla de Salud Program of the General Consulate of Mexico in San Diego and in the team of promotoras of Champions for Health. Cecilia is a visionary and believes that a true community leader lifts us up, gives us a reason for being and the spirit to change.
