Biography

Brenda Gonzáles has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). In 2020, she received her master’s degree in public health, specifically in environmental health, from Texas A&M University. She has worked as a program coordinator for the Texas A&M University National Promotor Training Center for the past two years where she was certified as a promotor and as the instructor for the Center’s promotor instructors online course. She has served as a presenter at the American Public Health Association, a national conference, where she presented research on smoking cessation related to maternal health.
