This workshop will provide information and tools for promotores to influence and make an impact on social policies and decisions made by public officials and institutions in their communities. Yes, you can!
Objectives:
- Understand the difference between economic power and political power, and its importance in changing laws and public policies.
- Identify the foundation for building community power: from frustration and powerlessness to collective organization and hope.
- Learn how to create close working relationships and commitment to one-on-one, heart-to-heart community conversations.
