Promotores and Community Health Workers Are Essential in Surviving a Pandemic*

In this interactive workshop, we will review the roles and skills of essential workers during a pandemic, raising the importance of being prepared with skills and rapid response strategies to support the development of community building.

Objectives:

• Identify the importance of our role as essential workers during a pandemic and the need to be prepared to face these new challenges.
• Determine useful measures and activities to strengthen aid in a pandemic and assist in recovery to daily life with prevention and early detection.
• Identify at least three skills necessary to face the new challenges in a new era in the promotion of health and quality of life.
