In this workshop you will learn how to protect the health of children, how past uses of a location can leave contamination on a property, the nearby sources of contamination, natural contaminants, and the drinking water at a childcare and education site.
Objectives
- Recognize how past uses of a site can leave contamination on a property.
- Identify how contamination from nearby places and activities can spread from one place to another, including day care centers and child care and education sites.
- Recognize what and which are the most common natural contaminants in drinking water.
