Gratitude as Part of Physical and Emotional Self-Care

Gratitude as Part of Physical and Emotional Self-Care

In this workshop you will learn how the practice of gratitude helps the brain to generate chemicals such as serotonin and endorphins, creating physical well-being since it lowers the heart rate and strengthens the immune system. Emotionally, the person feels more content, relaxed, and happy when generating positive thoughts; therefore it is an excellent antidote to combat depression, anxiety, stress, and anger.
