Edith Aristizabal

Edith Aristizabal was born in Michoacán Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of 4. Edith is currently the Program Director at El Nido Family Centers. In her role, she leads the Best Start Regional Network in the San Fernando Valley working with the Panorama City & Neighbors and Northeast Valley Best Start communities. Best Start is a network of community residents, parents, organizations, and other stakeholders working collectively to improve outcomes for children 0-5 and their families by affecting systems change. Through her work with Best Start she has witnessed the power of community engagement and the critical role residents play in transforming our communities. Edith received her BA from UC Riverside and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration.
