Our Voice, Our Stories*
A dynamic and interactive workshop, where relevant and culturally sensitive information on end-of-life care options, advance planning, and resources available to the Latino community will be presented. Aimed at training community health workers and promotores to become agents of change in their communities. By the end of the workshop, participants will be better equipped to educate, support, and advocate for quality, equitable end-of-life care for the Latino community.
Objectives
- Recognize the importance of Advance Health Care Planning (PAC) and the various components.
- Learn about the end-of-life tools and resources that Compassion & Choices offers specifically for the Latino community.
- Acquire skills to foster meaningful conversations that help people identify and communicate their preferences and decisions in times of health crisis.
