Marlenne Fajardo
Biography
Originally from Sinaloa, Mexico, Marlenne Fajardo has been a proud resident of San Mateo, CA for 23 years. With a lifelong passion for her community and a strong desire to keep learning, she has dedicated herself to community service through local organizations, agencies, and school committees. She currently serves as a promotor(a) with El Concilio and is actively involved in the San Mateo County CARON Program and the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center. She has served as a Mental Health Ambassador with San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, and for 11 years she was part of her local high school’s parent committee, including a term as President of the Latino Parents Committee. Motivated by the desire to give back to her community, she now helps others understand how climate change affects them and how to advocate for a healthier future.
