Karla Armas
Biography
Karla Armas Bermejo was born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. She has worked with the organization Visión y Compromiso as a promotora and project coordinator since 2017. Karla recognizes that her spirit of service, empathy, and warmth are her greatest talents and results in her passion working on community health care projects. Her academic training in different areas of health and her experience as a community leader have allowed her to reinforce her values and have encouraged her to continue preparing herself in the holistic care of human beings. She strives to provide each colleague, ally, and community member who accompanies her on her professional and personal journey—a relationship of collectivity and support—which she considers the key to success for a dignified and healthy life. Karla is also a lover of music and the arts.
