Emma Castillo

Emma Castillo is a Dispensary Manager in San Francisco, California, who specializes in Medical Cannabis Education. Emma began working in the cannabis industry while finishing her undergraduate degree in Health Education from San Francisco State University. When dispensaries were labeled “essential businesses” during COVID-19, she continued to serve her community and focused on staff education, as well as creating community partnerships between dispensaries, local organizations, and small businesses. Emma continued her education by completing a Cannabis Culinary Program from the Mission Language Vocational School in 2024 and her Master of Science in Medical Cannabis Therapeutics from the University of Maryland’s School of Pharmacy in 2026. Emma’s mission is to advocate for cannabis patients and consumers through education, cultural competency, and social justice.
