Together We Have More Power: Partnerships with Public Health Agencies
In this workshop, promotoras, promotores, CHWs, and public health agencies will explore how, as partners, they drive health equity and health justice. By combining community wisdom, lived experience, shared power, and institutional resources, these partnerships build trust, amplify community voices, and strengthen access to culturally responsive services. Through collaboration, they address social determinants of health, improve health outcomes, and create lasting community impact. Participants will explore the benefits, challenges, and strategies for building sustainable partnerships that foster meaningful engagement, resilience, and collective action.
