Leadership with Heart: Strategies to Support the Personal and Professional Growth of Community Health Workers
In this workshop, promotoras and promotores will receive practical and culturally relevant tools to support the personal and professional development of promotora and community health worker teams. Through participatory dynamics, real-life case studies, and examples from AltaMed Health Services, participants will explore compassionate leadership strategies, goal setting, mentorship, and emotional well-being practices for their teams. The workshop is designed to create a space of trust and mutual growth while sharing best practices to strengthen the impact of promotoras and CHWs in their communities.
