A Brain That Cares Needs Care Too
The brain of a promotora is an extraordinary tool. Thanks to it, we listen, learn, teach, solve problems, accompany others, and build hope. But even the most valuable tools need care. In this workshop, promotoras and promotores will recognize which daily actions drain our brain when we reach 40 years of age—and how to protect it so it can keep serving us.
- Value the brain as a fundamental tool for learning, decision-making, community leadership, and serving community priorities.
- Identify everyday factors that can affect brain function, distinguishing them from factors related to aging.
- Apply practical self-care and well-being strategies to strengthen memory, focus, and brain health in daily life.
