Ana Laura Cornejo
Biography
Ana Laura Cornejo is a licensed Psychologist with specialized training in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Existential Therapy, complemented by a diploma in Family Constellations. She has completed various training programs in Los Angeles, focusing on sexual violence, crisis intervention, and Psychological First Aid for Migrants, initially as a student and later as a Coordinator at the UNAM Los Angeles campus. Her professional experience spans teaching across different educational levels and providing therapeutic services. Since 2017, Ana Laura has been actively involved as a volunteer with various nonprofit organizations. From 2018 to 2023, she worked on a mental health project with the East Los Angeles Women’s Center. She has been a part of Visión y Compromiso’s Promotores Institute since 2020, where she implemented a project based on popular education. Currently, Ana Laura works with Visión y Compromiso as the Coordinator of the Family, Friends, and Neighbors Program in the Programs Department, continuing her commitment to community support and empowerment.
