Biography
Romina is a Promotora Youth Leader from the Central Valley. She is one of the founders of Young Hispanic Leaders, the group that helped create the Youth Track for Vision y Compromiso’s annual conference, an initiative dedicated to helping young people build stronger relationships, navigate the school system, and successfully transition into adulthood.
As a member of the Tulare Regional Promotora Committee, she has been a voice for improving youth’s lives in her community by pushing to look for resources and bring workshops to them. Her passion and commitment for helping others have led her to advocate for bills that would benefit migrant communities and students like her at the Promotora Legislative Day in Sacramento. At her college, Romina is an active member of the Dream Club, where she spreads essential information for migrant students such as free legal services and Know Your Rights workshops. She is also a cat lover.
