Magdalen Ramirez

Magda Ramirez (any pronouns) is a Health Educator with Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties (PPOSBC), proudly serving the community where they were born and raised. Their academic background in researching health communication and health equity in marginalized communities fuels their passion for reproductive justice, cultural competency, and empowerment. Their work is centered on uplifting the voices of the diverse communities in Orange County, including individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities, survivors of sexual assault, and Spanish-speaking participants. As a speaker, Magda specializes in creating safe spaces that foster conversations about topics such as sexual violence prevention, consent education, and communal healing.
