Ginger Lee

Dr. Ginger Lee was honored to work alongside caring, creative, and effective promotoras during 12 formative years at Latino Health Access. Dr. Lee was raised in a large, low-income family in East Oakland and North Sacramento, where she saw strength, resilience, and many injustices. She has expertise in government policy-making and non-profit management, and sustainability. She has been the President of the Board of Directors for a foundation that makes grants in Guatemala. She has dedicated her work to supporting community power building for systems change. Dr. Lee strongly believes the people most affected by any condition are the ones who know the best solutions. She is the lead author of the Public Health and Racial Equity (PHaRE) Model for Systems Change, based on successful policy and systems changes led by low-resourced communities. Dr. Lee is currently the CEO of Ginger Lee Global Health Consulting Group.
