Research as a Tool for the Development of Your Programs and Your Community*
(* = Translation Available)
As promotores, we are used to supporting clinical research projects that have already designed and that in some ways benefit the well-being of our communities. Could it be us, who know the needs of our community, who could be in charge of designing these projects? This workshop is an invitation to reflect on the ways of using clinical research as an opportunity in our favor to find support to strengthen and advance our programs.
- Promotores will reflect about research as an element present in our daily life.
- Promotores will learn about the multiple phases of clinical research, its terminology, and how it relates to our work.
- Participants will reflect about how to use participatory research in favor of their community and their programs. They will get examples on how to achieve it.
