Clinical trials remain a topic surrounded by myths and barriers in many Hispanic communities. Through an interactive panel featuring a BCU representative, a blood cancer survivor, and a clinical trial specialist, promotoras and promotores will learn what clinical trials are, how to find them, patient rights, and the importance of diversity in research. Participants will also explore the vital role of promotoras in sharing trustworthy, evidence-based information that can help save lives and strengthen community trust.
