Brenda Sazo

Brenda Sazo is originally from Guatemala and has dedicated much of her life to serving the most vulnerable. Holding an Associate of Arts degree in Addiction Studies, she has worked as a Community Health Worker and currently serves as an Addiction Counselor, providing education, guidance, and access to resources to improve her community’s well-being. For over three years, she has been part of Blood Cancer United (BCU) as an ambassador and community outreach worker, supporting patients and families affected by blood cancers through education, community outreach, peer support connections, and the distribution of resources at hospitals and local organizations. For Brenda, serving others is a passion that brings her deep satisfaction and motivates her to continue bringing information, support, and hope to those who need it most.
