Dr. Alejandra Furet

Community Health Advisor, Bakersfield's PACE program

Biography

Alejandra Furet graduated from the Universidad de Colima (Mexico) as a General Practitioner. Guided by a deep calling to service and social justice, she has proudly served for the past 5 years as a Community Health Advisor in Bakersfield’s PACE program. In this role, Alejandra has established herself as a truly trusted bridge, transforming the lives of many older Latino adults by mitigating critical social determinants such as isolation and lack of access to medical care. Convinced that information empowers and heals, she contributes to community outreach every Sunday at 10:30 am on El Gallito 1010 radio station, where she speaks about how older adults can benefit from the PACE by IIH program, bringing hope and dignity to the homes of our Central Valley community.
