Dr. Hannah Laimer

Dr. Hannah Laimer is a Family Medicine physician, educator, and Residency Program Director who believes that health information should be understandable, practical, and accessible to everyone. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with patients and communities affected by obesity, diabetes, and other chronic health conditions. She is passionate about helping people separate health myths from facts and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. As a physician educator, Dr. Laimer trains future family physicians while also supporting community-based health education efforts. She values the important role promotoras play as trusted sources of information and advocates for health equity, and she is committed to providing education that is evidence-based, culturally responsive, and immediately applicable in the community.
