Ana Castano

Ana Castano, Program Manager, began her relationship with Prospera in 2014. She worked as a worker-owner in a cooperative business project producing and selling popsicles for two years. Later, thanks to her passion for training and educating people from an early age, she started a new cooperative project called Luna y Sol, focused on childcare. Motivated by the need and trust that families with children have in childcare providers and her conviction that cooperativism is a vehicle for the economic and professional sustainability of humanity, Ana continued her involvement with Prospera. She was a member of the Board of Directors and later assumed the Presidency, always attentive and committed to the programs and opportunities that Prospera offered. Ana subsequently supported Prospera programs as a contractor. In January 2023, she joined the team as Entrepreneurial Success Coordinator, and today is an ally and partner to each participant in her current role as Program Manager.
