Claudia Arroyo

Executive Director of Prospera, Claudia Arroyo has been an active leader in advocating for immigrant rights, bringing a necessary perspective after being undocumented for 12 years. She has also been actively involved in movements for gender-based violence prevention, gay and queer rights, and health promotion for marginalized communities for over 15 years. Claudia is also a certified coach and firmly believes in the untapped potential of every individual. Her life is enriched by engaging with practices based on the solidarity economy, popular education, and community liberation. She cherishes the opportunity to connect her personal story with that of countless women who, like her, strive to raise their voices and claim the space necessary to manifest their dreams and co-create a just and dignified world.
