Liza Marie Serna

Liza Marie Serna is the Regional Manager of the Network of Promotoras and Community Health Workers at Visión y Compromiso for the Inland Empire region, which includes Riverside and San Bernardino counties. She brings extensive experience in strengthening community leadership, organizing promotoras, building capacities, and fostering civic participation. Throughout her career, she has coordinated community education, health, professional development, and advocacy and public policy initiatives. Her work focuses on creating accessible, participatory, and culturally relevant learning spaces that promote the empowerment of Latino communities.Passionate about popular education and community leadership, Liza champions the use of innovative tools that strengthen the voice of promotoras and expand their capacity to generate positive change in their communities.
