Keep Going, Going: The World Is Not Going to End: Training of Trainers on What to Do About Climate Change

The goal is to provide a guide or example on how to conduct training workshops, presentations and to facilitate a dialogue regarding climate change and its implications in practical and neutral manner. This workshop will give the participants the necessary knowledge and tools so they can impart workshops in their communities about climate change and how it impacts our physical, mental, and financial health. Additionally, the participants will also learn the ways in which we all can diminish the effects of climate change at the personal, family, and community levels. The participants will be given a guide for climate change facilitators along with the materials and instructions on how to deliver them.

Objectives

1. To identify at least three ways in which climate change affects them.
2. To list at least five ways to mitigate or reduce the impact of climate change; and
3. To enumerate at least two ways  that can be used to prepare for the effects of climate change in their community.
