Integrating Digital Storytelling in Promotores’ Programs
In this interactive session, the participants will hear how to utilize digital stories. A brief overview will be presented, the results of an investigation and the process of creating four videos and how they were used, as well as examples, challenges, and successes of the investigation and the impact it has had on the workers. The participants will be asked to share how they could use digital stories in their diverse areas and work sites.
Objectives:
- Promotores will learn the benefits and challenges of developing digital stories as part of investigation projects and practice doing participative investigations based in the community.
- Promotores will learn how to apply the principles of popular education in the use of digital stories as tools for occupational safety and health.
- Promotores will learn how to integrate digital stories in promotores’ programs.
